Located along 1000-feet of sandy shoreline, West Pines is a family-friendly campground featuring both seasonal and overnight campsites, waterfront cottages, and trailer rentals. We pride ourselves in offering well maintained sites and clean facilities, in a relaxing and kid-friendly environment.
You can spend your holiday enjoying the numerous amenities at West Pines, or simply relax by the lake and cozy up around your campfire. If you would like to explore the local area, Algonquin Park is only a short, scenic drive from our main entrance. Our small neighbouring communities provide endless opportunities to explore one-of-a-kind art galleries, gift & antique shops, local homemade fare and weekly Farmers’ Markets.

SEASONAL CAMPING
Seasonal camping is an excellent way to enjoy the great outdoors and create family memories year after year. Featuring 90 seasonal sites in a family-oriented and relaxing atmosphere, West Pines offers an authentic camping experience along the sandy shores of Lake St. Peter. OVERNIGHT CAMPING
Whether you’re camping with us for the night or here for a few weeks, our overnight sites invite you to make yourself at home amongst the tall pines and sandy shores. We have a variety of unique overnight sites located all throughout the park, including prime waterfront and beachfront camping experiences. Each site is located within close proximity to all park amenities and comes with its own campfire pit and picnic table.
COTTAGE RENTALS
Our rustic lakefront cottages are located just steps from the water’s edge and are a favourite amongst families who have been vacationing at West Pines for generations! The perfect destination for a couples’ getaway or a family vacation. You can spend your days on the water or along the sandy shores – you’ll have endless fun boating, fishing, swimming, or playing in the sand. At night, enjoy a lakeside campfire under the stars or grill up a feast on one of our new BBQs. Our cottages feature all of your basic necessities and some additional cottaging comforts. Outside, each cottage comes with a campfire pit, picnic table and 2 Muskoka chairs. Each cottage comes with its own dock – you supply the watercraft!
TRAILER RENTALS
A great (and easier) way for you to enjoy the camping experience! Our trailer rentals come completely set up and ready for you to enjoy. The best part, no need to apologize to your spouse or camping buddies for the things that you said while trying to park the trailer! Our trailer rentals come equipped with all the essential kitchen appliances, BBQs, 3-piece bathrooms, decks and outdoor furniture – just to highlight a few amenities.
